Company Intro - The Rub is a locally owned and managed business dedicated to providing superior massage, yoga and bodywork services to our clients.

The genesis of The Rub came from my prior career when I had an opportunity to travel extensively throughout Europe, Asia and South America on business. In the little spare time I had, I was able to experience first-hand how deeply massage and bodywork is integrated into the respective cultures. I also had a wonderful opportunity to learn how massage and bodywork varied by region and how many of the techniques were passed down from generation to generation. When I would return home from my trips, I was never able to find anyone that offered a similar experience that was both assessable and affordable. So like many entrepreneurs before us, my wife and I set out to create something very different and exciting.

Philosophy - At The Rub, we take therapeutic massage, yoga and bodywork seriously. With a focus on wellness, integration of the body and mind, and heeling, our massage and private yoga sessions are focused, tailored to each client’s needs and goals, and affordable.

We don’t offer canned or signature massages and the idea of “one-size-fits-all” is not something we believe in or practice. We do believe that since no two people are exactly the same, then every massage and yoga session should be as unique as he person receiving it. We also believe that there is more to a great massage or personal yoga session then great technique --there must also be a good client/therapist connection. Our front desk staff is trained to take this and other factors into consideration when matching a specific therapist with a client.

General Info – We know that not everyone works form 9-5 Monday through Friday or has weekends off. For this reason, we are open seven days a week with weekday appointments as late as 7:30pm and 6:30pm on weekends.
